Affordable loan officer web design, and what the price has to cover

Affordable loan officer web design is only affordable if the monthly figure covers the things a mortgage site actually needs: hosting, a domain, updates, the estimator, and somebody who fixes the licensed states line when it changes. A cheap build with none of that attached is not cheaper, it is deferred. This page sets out what our lowest plan covers, what the build fee is for, and what usually hides behind a low headline number elsewhere.

What it costs

  • Plans$137 a month
  • Build fee$797, after launch
  • Live in7 days
  • Revisions5 a month
  • Domain and hostingIncluded

What a cheap mortgage site usually costs later

The common shape is a low one-time build price, then a hosting bill, then an SSL renewal, then a page builder license, then a plugin subscription for the calculator, then an hourly rate every time a licensed state changes. Twelve months in, the total has passed what a managed plan would have cost, and the site is out of date because every change costs money and friction. The second common shape is a free site from a lender platform, which is genuinely free and genuinely not yours: you cannot change the structure, you do not own the domain, and it goes away when you move. Neither is a bad deal because of the price. They are bad deals because of what the price excludes.

What the lowest plan includes: Free domain in your name; Hosting, SSL and bandwidth; 5 revisions a month; Build fee after launch; No minimum term. Infographic with Toffee, the studio mascot.

What our lowest plan actually includes

The Solo Originator plan carries the complete site: your originator profile, a page for each program you originate, the payment estimator on your own domain, the application path into your CRM or LOS, a domain registered free in your name for as long as the plan is active, Cloudflare hosting with SSL and unmetered bandwidth, 5 revisions a month of any size completed within 2 to 5 working days, researched articles every week and the 90+ PageSpeed floor written into your terms. There is no hosting invoice, no SSL line, no plugin license and no hourly billing anywhere. One monthly figure, cancellable month to month with notice.

Why there is a build fee at all, and why it comes last

The one-time build fee covers the work that happens once: the design, the copy for your programs, the migration of anything worth keeping, the estimator setup and the connection into your CRM or LOS. Spreading that into the monthly price would mean either a much higher monthly figure or a long minimum term, and we would rather have neither. So the fee is invoiced only after the site is live and you have approved it. If you cancel before the build starts, it is never charged. You are never asked to pay for a build you have not seen.

Where affordable stops being the right question

If you close a handful of loans a year and want a credible page a referral can act on, the lowest plan is the right answer and the rest of our range is not for you. If you run a team, need routing between originators, or want the AI receptionist answering after hours, the honest advice is that the cheapest plan will not do it and stretching it will cost you more in missed inquiries than the difference. We would rather say that on a demo than sell you the small plan twice. Either way, no minimum term and no pressure: pick on the call, not before it.

What you get

What clients say about this work

  • “If you only look at the design you miss the best bit, which is the inquiry form. It collects purchase or refinance goal, property state and callback time up front, so the back-and-forth we used to do by reply has largely gone. It has quietly removed the slowest step in our intake.”

What they got: Inquiry form and response workflow for home loan consultations

  • “Most of our visitors are on phones, so that is where I reviewed the new home loan consultations pages. Everything a visitor needs is up top, and the inquiry button stands out properly. It is far more practical than the old page when we share it with a caller.”

Brenda InglewoodCase administrator, Later-life lending advice firmStamford, Connecticut

What they got: Mobile navigation and page layout for home loan consultations

  • “Before this, sending our home loan consultations form felt like posting a letter into the dark. Submitters now see exactly what we will do with their request and when to expect us. It is a small corner of the site that makes the whole process feel finished.”

Questions about Affordable loan officer web design

What is the cheapest way to work with you?

The Solo Originator plan plus the one-time build fee, which is invoiced only after your site is live and approved. The exact figures are on the pricing page and come from one shared source, so what you read there is what you are invoiced.

Are there setup costs I have not seen?

No. The plan fee and the one-time build fee are the whole cost of the website. Usage costs exist only on the plans that include the AI Engine, where message and call volume is passed through at what our providers charge us, and those are itemized before you buy.

What happens if I cancel after a few months?

The site runs to the end of the month you have paid for and no further invoice is raised, provided your notice reaches us at least 2 business days before the next invoice date during business hours. All sales are final, so paid months are not refunded, and we transfer your domain to you at no charge.

Can I start cheap and upgrade later?

Yes, and most people should. Moving up a plan adds the AI Engine or the Content Engine on top of the same site. There is no rebuild and no second build fee.

Is a free lender-provided site good enough?

Sometimes, early on. It is genuinely free. What it usually is not is yours: you rarely own the domain, you cannot add program pages or an estimator that keeps the lead, and it goes away when you move lender. If any of those matter, it is worth paying for a site you keep.

What should a low monthly fee actually cover?

At a minimum: the site itself, the domain, the hosting with a certificate and backups, the changes you will need every month, and somebody measuring that the pages are still fast. If a cheap plan covers only the first of those, the rest arrive later as separate bills or as your own unpaid time, and the total is no longer cheap. The useful comparison is not the monthly figure, it is the monthly figure plus everything the plan makes you do yourself.

Is there a cheaper way to do this that you would honestly recommend?

Yes, in one case: you are newly licensed, the site is three or four pages, and somebody at your business genuinely enjoys editing it. Then a hosted builder is the right answer and we will say so on the call. The moment the site needs a page per program, a profile per originator with identifiers that must stay correct, and a change made the week compliance asks for it, the sums change, and that is the point at which we are worth the difference.

Do I pay anything before the site is live?

You pay the first monthly fee to start the build. The one-time build fee is invoiced only after the site is live and you have approved it, which is deliberate: it puts the risk of a build you do not like on us rather than on you. There is no minimum term, so if the first month does not convince you, the only money at stake is that month.
